Requirements | GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS Information
Full-time Programme: HKU MBA in partnerships with London Business School and Columbia Business School/ HKU MBA in China business concentration:
1. Recognised Bachelor's degree
2. Satisfactory GMAT score
3. Minimum TOEFL 550 (paper based)/ 80 (Internet based) or IELTS band 6.0, with no subtest lower than 5.5
4. Around three years of postgraduate full-time work experience (as at July 2012)
Part-time Programme:
1. Recognised Bachelor's degree
2. Satisfactory GMAT score*
3. Minimum TOEFL 550 (paper based)/ 80 (Internet based) or IELTS band 6.0, with no subtest lower than 5.5
4. Around three years of postgraduate full-time work experience (as at September 2012)
* Applicants with more than 7 years of full-time work experience might be exempted from this requirement. Exemption, if any, will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

GMAT
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is required for all applicants. You must make your own arrangement to take the test. The HKU MBA code number for the GMAT is FS2-WL-61 (Old Code : 0788). [Institution: University of Hong Kong - School of Business & Economics - MBA/IMBA]
Test score more than five years old will not be accepted

TOEFL/IELTS
An applicant who is seeking admission on the basis of a qualification from a university or comparable institution outside Hong Kong where the language of teaching and/ or examination is not English is required to obtain a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper based)/ 80 (Internet based) or IELTS band 6.0, with no subtest lower than 5.5.
Test scores more than two years old will not be accepted.
When you pre-register to take the test, paper score report should be sent directly to MBA Office ( Room 104, Cyberport 4, 100 Cyberport Road, Hong Kong ). The HKU TOFEL code number is 9671.
