1. Required Supporting Documents
Along with the online MBA application the following documents need to be submitted.

    • Officially certified degree certificate(s) and transcript(s) of your graduate and undergraduate studies (transcripts not in English should be accompanied by a certified translation in English)
    • Official GMAT report
    • Official score report on an English Language proficiency test, such as TOEFL or IELTS (only for applicants with qualifications from institutions outside HK where the language of instruction and examination is not English)
    • 2 Referees' reports
    • Detailed resume

2. Scholarship Application Information

3. Interview
Once online application and supporting documents are submitted the Admissions Committee will short-list the candidates for the interview. Local candidates will be interviewed in person and international candidates will be interviewed either by phone or video conference. Interview invitation will be sent through the email provided in the application. Additional interview or documentation maybe required in some cases.

 

# HKU MBA gives much importance to the interview process rather than essay's, as we believe the best way to judge an applicant is by having close interaction to understand the motivation and personality of our prospective students. For the full-time MBA, two rounds of interviews may be conducted for 2012-13 admissions.


4. Full- Time MBA Admissions Decision
In general, the admission result will be available in 2 to 4 weeks after the interview. Admission decision will be communicated through email once all the outstanding supporting documents are received. In exceptional case, conditional offer may be made subject to fulfillment of the GMAT and/or TOEFL/IELTS requirements.

 

5. Full-Time MBA Admissions
2012 Admissions closed. 2013 Admissions will open in early September 2012.

 

6. Important Dates (Start of MBA Programme)
International students are expected to be in Beijing for China Immersion Programme (Mandarin language / Business Communication) around end of June 2012. MBA courses will start in Hong Kong around end of July 2012.


Admissions Procedures/Guidelines - Part-time

1. Required Supporting Documents

    • Officially certified degree certificate(s) and transcript(s) of your graduate and undergraduate studies (transcripts not in English should be accompanied by a certified translation in English)
    • Official GMAT report (Applicants with more than 7 years of full-time experience might be exempted from this requirement. Exemption, if any, will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
    • Official score report on an English Language proficiency test, such as TOEFL or IELTS (only for applicants with qualifications from institutions outside HK where the language of instruction and examination is not English)
    • 2 Referees' reports
    • Detailed resume

4. Part- Time MBA Admissions
Our admissions are conducted on a rolling basis. 10 June 2012 is the final round deadline of application. Only weekday mode is available.
